“To inculcate Scientific Temper for attaining new heights in research and development for the welfare of masses and to improve the quality of their life as well as to solve important issues of socio-economic development by acting as organic link between science, technology and economy ”.
Mission
To advance in Chemical Sciences through the education of undergraduate students by providing them with quality class room research and service opportunities and to produce students who are knowledgeable in chemistry who can think critically.
PROFILE OF THE DEPARTMENT
The department of chemistry was established in July 2006.
The department provides both honors and general courses under the prescribed syllabus of Manipur University.
The Department is fully equipped with standardized class rooms and up to date laboratory apparatus like pH meter, Spectrophotometer, Colorimeter, Semi-micro centrifuge machine etc.

April 6th and 7th: This was organized by the Science department of the college under the theme “Recreating interest in Basic Science” with a view to impart interest and encourage the inquisitiveness in a student to understand the fundamental of science.
