ACTIVITIES OF THE YEAR 2016 - 17
1. FIELD TRIP
September 23rd to 27th: The department of Botany took a field trip to Kolkata. They visited first the place of St. Mother Teresa’s Home and the Science city where the students learn more about the advancement of science and technology. Next day they started visiting from Indian Botanical Garden (BSI), Indian Museums and end with Eco park.
October 22nd: A total of 53 students of Bsc 3rd semester headed by Mr. Jimni Singh (HoD) went for a one day trip to ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) and science centre as part of their partial fulfillment of syllabus.
Future Plan
Short term plan:
To developed a well maintained botanical garden in the college campus. Short term course in Mushroom cultivation.Mid term plan:
Minor research projects. National seminar.Long term plan:
To develop proper experimental room for research work and give more emphasis towards research.Placement Details
